Intro to Kinetic Sand

My nephews came over and I introduced them to Kinetic sand.  They loved it and now want to get some for themselves.  Who doesn't love Kinetic Sand?!

PIRATE ESCAPE 

Anthony was amazed by how it felt, how modeable it was, and how it wasn't sticky. 

He was so proud of his work.

Kanani's face is so funny, she did that because her ice cream was melting. 

ICE CREAM TREATS 

I set up four stations of sand and would have them rotate after 10 minutes, or whenever they were all ready to move on to the next station.

So happy how much are collection of kinetic sand has grown.  It's definitely a favorite in our house. 

Lowe's Build & Grow Workshop: Hawkeye

Today we went to Lowe's for our Saturday Workshop and got to build our 4th Avenger Hawkeye.  During the summer Lowe's has two workshops each month.  We have really enjoyed our workshops this summer since we have been able to spend them with my nephews.  Sadly this was our last Saturday workshop with them before they go back home.  I wish they lived closer I'm going to hate seeing them leave after spending all summer with them.

Kanani is ready to get her workshop started, this is her second apron going on her third.

All three kids with their finished work, as you can see there is an extra one which is Dartanian's.  He was too busy walking around Lowe's with his dad for me to get a picture of him with the kids.   

Oh I love them!!!

Words cannot express the love I have for my babies.  We are so blessed and honored to be their parents.  It  has been such a gift to watch these two grow and see them learn new things.  So exciting when they accomplish milestone after milestone.  I thank God everyday for these two beautiful angels of mine.

When it comes to water she is always down for getting wet no matter what she has on.  Water is always tons of fun.

Her smile always lightens my day.  No matter how sad or down I maybe feeling she always knows just what to do or say to bring a smile to my face.

Where has my baby gone?

Never would I have thought someone so little could have such a special place in my heart.  This little boy definitely has me wrapped around his finger.  I love him so much and will do anything for him.  

His smile always makes my heart skip a beat and when he laughs it's even better. 

I was so nervous to get his hair cut.  It was getting really long and I noticed it was bothering him a lot especially around his ears.  Rey cut his hair first and then my mom finished it.  He looks so grown now, miss his baby hair.

This boy loves anything dealing with water.  He quickly learned how to turn on and off the faucet.  

Where is the baby?

Looking so big, please stop growing so fast my sweet little man.  

Downtown Fun

We've been enjoying our times with my nephews this summer.  I'm glad we were able to show them downtown and some history of our town.
