Sleep

We've been staying at my parents house due to no heat at home.  Dartanian wakes up at 5 am, barely opening his eyes.  He sees his sister in the bed and proceeds to push away from me to land on the bed. As soon as I lay him down he quickly rolls over to Kanani, gets comfortable, and then falls asleep. 

They have such a wonderful bond.  

So sleepy

Dartanian was so sleepy but wouldn't lay down.  So Kanani and me were talking on the bed when I look up and see him sitting there asleep.  He just couldn't fight it any more.

Fell asleep in my arms.  Have to treasure these moments before they are gone. 

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Rey and me have always liked the Ninja Turtles since we were young, not that we are old or anything....lol.  I'm glad that are kids can experience some of the things we grew up around.  Although we like the older version better. 

His first snow experience

Starring out the window watching the snow fall.  He's probably trying to figure out what is all the white stuff on the ground.  

Looking at this picture you would think he loved the snow.  He did until he actually touched it.  Then there was no putting him down.  He's too delicate for all that snow.  😄😊

The Giant book

The kids love being read to too, which is something I love.  I've always wanted them to love reading, I believe that won't be a problem.  

I especially like how Kanani is using daddy as her personal chair.  She can never see Rey lay down on the floor without jumping on him.  It happens instantly, which he doesn't mind.  

He loves his big sister

As usual Kanani try's to lay down to relax, like she calls it, and Dartainan is right there next to her.  He's got to be doing something to her all time. Her little shadow, which doesn't seem to bother her like I thought it would. 

Poor Zeus

Ever since Dartanian learned how to crawl he has been into everything. We are constantly finding him in the strangest places.  Especially in poor Zeus's kennel, Kanani used to do the same thing.  Something about the kennel that seems to attract babies to it. 

At his first ER visit

Today was Dartanian's first visit to the ER.  Last night (2/16/2015) he had an emergency where we had to call 911 to the house.   He chocked on one of Kanani's plastic pony hair.

  

He was coughing up blood and his eyes started crossing.  It was the most terrifying experience to go through.  Thankfully once Rey tilted his back after administering CPR he was able to see the toy and pull it out.  Once his airways were clear he was fine.  The paramedics got there after Rey pulled the toy out.  

They checked him and cleared him. The next day I took him to the ER to get x-Rays of stomach to make sure there was nothing else.  Thankfully everything came back clear. 

I thank God for protecting little man, even the paramedics said it could have been a whole lot worst. The crazy thing is it all happened while we were all in the living room.  Kanani quickly noticed something was wrong and screamed.  If it wasn't for her who knows what could of happened.  To me she saved her brother's life.  

Ice fun

The top layer of water in the bird bath froze last night.  Kanani was very excited to take it off and play with it.  She said "I need to take that off so the birds can have water to drink."  Always looking out for the animals.  

Trying to fold

I started to fold the laundry when these two decided they wanted to play in the basket. The laundry I had just folded and places in the basket was now on the floor.  But when I saw those beautiful smiles I couldn't get mad.  I let them finish playing while I finished re-folding and putting the clothes away.

Kisses all over

I always love kissing their beautiful faces. Saw a picture of a little boy with kisses all over his face and kept telling myself I need to do that one day.  Then my friend Amber (whose a photographer: one of the best ones) posted a picture of her son with kisses on his face.  Inspired by  the picture I finally did the same.  There was so much laughing, it was a very fun experience.

These pictures just melts my heart.  Seeing their bond, making me miss my brothers even more.  Love how much these two love each other and have that special bond.

The bond these two have truly fis my heart.  She has always looked out for her brother since day 1.  People say she acts like he's second mom. Always making him smile when he's sad, first one in he's room when he wakes up, and always checking on him to make sure he is doing fine.
