Our blessings

My treasures that God has blessed our lives with.  I can't imagine our lives without them.  It has given us so much joy, love, and purpose.

Sometimes we just need to stop and smell the flowers

When did he get so big.

Doughnuts

Little man found the stash of chocolate doughnuts.  I noticed he was a little to quiet.  He got into the doughnuts while I was washing dishes.  Did know he could open the bag.

Enjoying his chocolate doughnut

Kinetic Sand

K got a kit with Kinetic Sand inside for her birthday.  We've been meaning to get some just never got around to it.  It's our new favorite sensory play.  We will be adding more colors, it's awesome.

Ice Cream fun

She loves the feel

Really into it

Ice Cream anyone

It's so soft and not as messy as regular sand or sticky.

Our silly baby

Little man is getting so big and his personality has been showing  He's such a silly boy with a touch of sweetness.  Always making us laugh, even if he's not feeling good.  We love to sit there and just watch him, he's very entertaining.  Love how he has a great imagination already just like his big sister.

METAL HAT

Using the pie pan a hat, such wonderful imagination.

COOL KID

He took my glasses while we were waiting for doctor to come in.  Had to take a lot of pictures of this cuteness.

Happy Birthday to my beautiful babies

Never would I have imagined I would be a mother.  To think that I was always told I wouldn't be able to have my own kids.  Now I have two beautiful blessings that  God has given us.  Not a day goes by that I don't thank God for them, they have completed our little family of 4.  Our lives have changed for the best, full of love, joy, and happiness.  Can't imagine what life was like without them.  I know one thing for sure it wasn't as interesting.

It's an emotional day that our princess turns 5 and our prince is 1.  It's a bitter sweet moment. Two milestone in their lives, it's only the beginning.  Looking at their baby pictures and to see how much they have changed brings tears to my eyes.  Tears of happiness not of sadness.  Well sad because they aren't babies anymore and are growing up.  But happy because they are growing up to be wonderful children of God.  I love them more than they will ever imagine.

 OUR 5 YEAR OLD PRINCESS

Happy Birthday to our beautiful princess Kanani.  Five years ago she was born on 4/11/2010 @ 8:03 am weighing 8lbs 3oz and 19.75" long.  Our first born, our miracle baby, our blessing from God.  She's taught us to take things one step at a time.  She has a wonderful heart always worrying about others and ready to lend a helping hand.  A nurse, teacher, and a great prayer warrior at such a young age.  My biggest helper and best big sister.  Best talks, awesome story teller, and an even better imagination.  Such a innocence in everything she does.  I pray that never changes.  We pray that God continues to bless her, always protects her, and guides her everyday of her life.

OUR 1 YEAR OLD PRINCE

Happy Birthday to our little prince Dartanian.  One year ago Dartanian was born on 4/11/2014 @ 8:08 am weighing 8lbs 9oz and 19" long.  He has taught us to always enjoy the little things in life and not to be too busy to play.  Always on the go and a very happy baby.  Into everything and curious about he's surroundings.  Fast learner, loves giving big wet kisses, great hugger, and a smile that will melt your heart.  We can only pray that God will protect him, continue to bless him, and guide him everyday of his life.

Turning a shirt into a Bag

Going to show you a step by step process to make a bag out of a shirt.  K has out grown a lot of her shirts that she doesn't want to part with, so we decided to make them into bags.  That way she will still be able to use her favorite shirts.

BARBIE SHIRT
Step 1

Line the bottom of the shirt so that they are even

Step 2

Cut a straight line (it's okay if it's not a perfect line), across on the bottom and save the piece that you cut off.  You will use that piece later.

Step 3

Fold the shirt in half making sure that the shoulders are even.

Step 4

Cut the neck portion off, you can cut it as big as you like.

Step 5

Cut the sleeves off, here I cut it a little more just because I wanted the top to be thinner.

Step 6

Lay the shirt out, it will look like a tank top.

Step 7

Turn the shirt inside out

Step 8

Gather the bottom part of the shirt together and tie it with the piece you saved from Step 2.  Make sure that when you tie the shirt that it's very tight.  I wrapped it around and tied it twice.  Then cut off the extra pieces once you tied the shirt.

Step 9

Turn the shirt back out and now you have yourself a bag.  K loves taking hers to the store and puts fruits or small items in it.

Step 10

Enjoy the bag!

Abuelas

I love that my kids get to have their grandparents close, wish mine lived closer.

Little man with his Abuela Gladys

D with his great Abuela Lydia

K enjoying her last day with Abuela Lydia before she leaves to PR

That Face

What can I say about that face.....he's so cute.  He's definitely are silly little man.  I've tired several times to get pictures of K doing this but it never happened.  She didn't see the point in making silly faces on glass.  Of course her brother is the total opposite.

My new lock screen

He's been sticking out his tongue a lot lately.

Of course he has to either lick or put everything in his mouth.

Squishy face.

Special Bond

Not only were my two babies born on the same day 4 years apart, they also have such a special bond between them.  It reminds me a lot of my relationship with my twin brother L.  I always knew that no matter what went on in our lives, no matter the distance, we would always be there for each other.  I know with all my heart that's how these two will always be.

He is always wanting to what she does

Silly kids

K's favorite thing to play in when she goes to her grandparents house, of course little man after her.

Every morning all he wants to do as soon as he wakes up is go lay down with his sister.  As you can tell he is one happy baby.

"UNO"

I've been working with little man trying to get him to say "Uno" for his birthday that's coming up, and to show me one with his finger.

Here he is showing me one with both hands.  Now whenever anyone says "UNO" he quickly raises his fingers up.

Here we are waiting for K's soccer practice to start.  Now that he can walk he is every where and into everything.
